Examples of Doodle Design

This section is to show the stages of how I draw a doodle. A new concept for me, having to remember to stop now and then to scan. I will do several different kinds of doodles to give you an idea of how to get started. However, you need to remember that there is no incorrect way. This isn't an art class and no grades are involved. Whatever way you go about creating a doodle is just fine and it's quite fun to experiment.

The drawing I end up with is often different from my first outline because my hand slips, the pen splatters or is running dry, or I don't like what I've just drawn. So, much of what I do is work around unplanned lines, blotches, or splatters. Often I think, "Hmmmm, now how can I make this look like what I thought I intended." No point in getting uptight.
